i own a 87 5.0 HO lx and would like to replace the stock cam with something a little throatier, without doing any machine workings, it will join a 70 mm tb 88 gt ecm, maf system with a kirban fuel pressure reg and a edelbrock intake system to start off..any suggestions?

I've got an e-303 cam in my 95 gt. I like it, it has some idling issues. It does have a very nice idle sound though:) But makes better up top power. But a lot of people will tell you the cam is outdated and you can find better. I just never bothered to really look around...
get the stage 1 trick flow or XE264HR or 270 from comp cams
Not to take over the post or nything but would the same apply for a 89 5.0 lx?? it has stock everything execpt for a cold air intake and exhaust...i am planning on putting trick flow efi intake kit along with bbk 75 mm throttle body and egr and more upgrades down the line but it is going to be stock for a cupple months after the cam install...so any info would be much appreciated and also any suggestions on any other things i should replace because of the cam install (pushrods ect.) while im in the motor would also be a help.thanks a lot!!!
