I am trying to make a mock mustang interceptor, just wondering if it will fit or be easy to modify? I can wield and do bodywork if needed. Thanks:bigthumbsup

Id check your local/state laws first if this is a daily driver. You never know what crazy laws there are about things like that. That is a cool idea. I wish departments would use Mustangs around here.. But with only 2 doors I dont see it happenging ever. The Chargers around here in black and white look really awesome though.

I would def check the local laws cause im sure that will stand out lol. love the idea though if some1 pulls in front of u just scare them with the lights... oh wait.. isnt that like impersonation an officer? lol
can't be any worst then a pickup with a bush guard:scratchchin
You can only use green, yellow, and white lights. If you use blue or red then you will be in trouble with the law.

I wish all departments would only run Crown Vics. They're so much easier to pick out in traffic. Mustangs would blend right in...
They run mustangs, chargers, and impalas where i live... Its hell to pick them out. Thank god for the laser jammer =P

Thats is the truth,

Back in the day I just had to recognize either crown vic lights or caprice lights at night.

The push bar will be a bit ghay………unless you use it at least once (has to be over 35mph though), then it would be cool. :D

crown vic bars may work, but note that holes 2 x 3 inches square are cut in the underside front of the vics bumper to attach the lower braces. on the impalas, same thing. its because to be functionally strong, the brackets have to connect to the frame top and bottom. you could run the bottom ones through the lower airdam, but theres not much to connect too. and i can testify that every vehicle ive drove (5 so far) with push bars had horrible vibration of the bars at higher speeds (above 60) if you connect to your front fascia, its bound to cause some damage. as far as legality, i dont see how any state or municipality can effect a law prohibiting the bars. just check your laws on red and blue lights and on the black and white color scheme. (ive heard some states outlawing the black and white scheme, dont think its constitutional, but ive heard of it)

personal note: cool as it sounds, especially to me, no way would i do that to my stang. there is a local dept near me that has a saleen that was a seizure that looks identical to the barricade saleen in transformers. only difference is thier dept logo where the decepticon logo was. dept uses it as a D.A.R.E. car for drug abuse education. and yes.... its badda$$...:shiny:

The best was today a cop in a mustang pulls up and goes. nice ride... bet ill smoke it. I said... highly doubt that but for the sake of leaving u in the car... U are faster. He laughed and took off... Prob right i think they run prochargers in those mustangs to keep em fast with all the weight they add. Can u say.... ballllllin?

Also I went down to flordia two weekends ago. THEY HAD A COP CORVETTE WHAT THE F**K!!!!!!!!! Why do they need such nice cars did the crown vic really not do it so they buy cars twice or even 4 times more? our tax dollars at work...

No more look for the square head lights...
