Can i hook up subs to my 2012 mustang base radio?
I have 2 kicker cvr 10's a box, and a kenwood 1800w amp in my garage all like brand new that i had installed in my jeep before i sold it to have sales tax money and a payment to my college so i could get credit for my internship, but anyways, i wish to install the amp and subs in my car but im not sure if its possible to reuse the stock radio. Its not a shaker 500 or 1000 just the plain one. I really like the look of stock and it sounds good as it is, i just like abit more bass in my music. So does anyone know if it can be done, i don't know if the stock radio has the rca connectors or anything like an aftermarket headunit would. I plan on having local audio shop do the work so i don't break my interior and to keep it as clean install as possible if it can be done with the stock headunit, just don't like the looks of any of the aftermarket units.

Yes of course it can be done however
i'm not sure if the stock unit has rca outputs, but you can buy a lineout converter which takes the speaker level connections and lets you connect them to an amplifier through rca cables.
Alternatively, you can get an amplifier that accepts speaker level inputs.

this is my amp, i think it does have the speaker level inputs, but i think i lost the little cable with the plug on it ;-( ive had this amp for like 3 years was like 1/2 price at best buy.
