A guy around me has a set of comp cam roller rockers (used) he says they will fit Chevy and ford smal blocks part # 1043-16 what exactly do roller rockers improve and shoud I buy them he wants $180 says they're lightly used

-16 means the number of arms in the package.

Check the application, compare their price and make him an offer at 50% of that or less.

Well what heads do you plan on putting those rockers on?

They are stud mount.

Well I'm not totally sure as of now kinda piecing my combs together off Craig'slist lol but they will be aluminum heads . I already purchased performer upper/lower , bbk shorties , off road h pipe with gt40 system. What heads would you recommend and what's the difference with stud mount
