I realize that the '99-'04 GT has a 2 valve sohc while my 07 GT (S197) has a 3v sohc, but my buddy gave me a set of "Blaster Coil-on-Plug for Ford Modular SOHC, '99-'04 , 16 Valve , PN 82428." He said they would work fine in my 07 because the engine is essentially the same, I installed them and they do work fine, but I'm wondering can I cause any damage and/or is it bad to use these in an S197 mustang? They seem to work fine, just want some input on that, and moreover, how similar are the engines as far as using parts between them? Thanks!

Wow, never mind. Apparently the wrong instruction sheet was in the box, saying they were for 99-04 mustangs, but the COP's were for my car, the bar code area on the box itself shows the correct PN at 82438. Problem solved.
