can someone help me figure out how to post pictures on the forum

alright ive been trying to upload pictures to the forum for a few days now and everytime i try a screen pops up that says "Sorry, this image type (6) is not supported yet. " and it wont let me upload the pictures

i messaged the forum fo rhelp and i havent gotten a reply.

does anyone know what i need to do to be able to upload pictures? any help is greatly appreciated

Click the "Go Advanced" box located next to the "Post Quick Reply" box, after you click it you'll see a box that says "manage attachments" click on it and then you can choose which pictures you want to show. Hope this helps.

if the file type isn't a supported picture file, you'd have to open the picture in windows paint and resave the file with a supported file extension, .jpg, .bmp etc. What does the file end in?

C:\Users\Owner\Pictures\Mustang\engine with bbk cold air intake.bmp

thats the format that my pictures are in. i dont know what to do
