Can this be true? Change the Battery and solve engine problems?

In the past few months, I noticed that my car wasn't running as well as usual. It had a light surging feeling under acceleration and would crank with a high idle. I figured it was a breathing issue and I would deal with it when the CEL turned on. After a while I noticed the the car was having a hard time cranking and changed the battery. The high idle on start and the light surge are gone. Was the weak battery messing with the ecu or something? I just doesn't sound right... :im confused:

when undoing the battery it will reset your computer as well so your problem might have been with something that reset itself

but all is well i wouldnt worry about it if she is running good:yelpleased:
That makes sense... I'm glad she's running better. Maybe she'll learn my drvin style
