I've had enough of this.....my wife and I had to cancel our orders because the plant screwed up on the build for BOTH OF THEM. I mean come on I can see ONE having an issue, but BOTH OF THEM? :nono::nono: Unacceptable. We have cancelled both of them and are taking dealer stock from somewhere else, maybe.

My dealership couldn't give me a straight answer, and it took prodding from my wife to call Ford Customer Service, AFTER BEING TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP NOT TO CALL THEM AGAIN, to find that our cars are on hold for an underminable length of time for a rework. Took Ford over a MONTH to give us a straight answer, and the dealership couldn't do it because they were getting the run around too. If this is how they are going to treat MCA members, then I don't want their business or their product. I'll stick with my V6 at this point. I can take my money elsewhere. I may even get a Camero I'm so mad!

I say your dealer f'ed up they are supposed to go over your order once ford has received it to confirm everything you want or do not want on the car are exactly what you ant. You should take to Mark at Price Ford. The have the cars sent to that dealer and say haha loser.

Wow!!! sorry to here this Fox.I certainly understand your frustration with this mess.I decided just last week to keep my order and wait it out.My car is now on the way so my wait is over I guess?

If they would just give you a straight answers and not bs it would help.I cant understand for the life of me why Ford and the dealers are doing this to loyal customers.I wish you and your wife the best and I hope you get your cars soon.

For the camaro you better hope you ar eunder5 foot 10 cuz that's the only way you will fit in them. It is not made for 6 foot tall person and the blind spots in the front A pillars sucks. So now the back quarters and front pillars you have blind spots not exactly a safe care.

If the dealer was getting the run around also why not just order two more. Actually I have to wonder why Ford did not just build two more. When did you actually order them? My experience with GM on ordering trucks is by far less than a good experience.

This is a big reason why I never order cars and I buy dealer stock. Sorry to hear about your frustrations, but I wouldn't get the camaro because the dealer wasn't doing their job. I'd go to a different dealer and either re-order or buy from dealer stock. It sucks, but keep us informed with what you do!

+1 on not ordering. I just do an inventory search and find what i want.

Also....its a brand new model..i have been saying all year that there will be bugs in productioin, bugs in delivery, and bugs in the cars that get out to the customers (for about 18 -24 months). Expect it.

Should anyone really be suprised?

Lots of confusion with ordering and shipping vehicles, etc.....Ford has a good reason for the holdback on the 5.0 per an engineering memo regarding an issue. When it finally comes out you will better understand why they are/were being held back.

A friendly piece of advice. If you are going to run around the threads and make a trolling comment and move to another thread and do the same thing, you are not going to last long here.

Yeah, like mine witha build date of 4/8/10. Thankfully, I am not having any trouble - at all. Just hang tight, I may have more information today. If your vehicle has the problem you will know it - NOT a safety issue.

That's exactly what Ford was supposed to have done for me when they told my dealer that they weren't shipping my GT/CS that was ordered on 2/8 and built on 5/4...on 6/1 I was informed that it wasn't going to ship it and they would fast track a replacement...well, as of today, 6/25, still nothing...no VIN, no build date. I'm about ready to pull the plug also....
