Okay, my car runs, idles, and drives perfectly fine. No bucking or problems through acceleration. However, it tends to die on me above 40 mph when I depress the clutch. I keep having to bump start it just to aviod a crash. I was wondering if it was the tps, or a sensor, or a loose ground of some sort.

Also, I have a light surging problem. I suspect that it is the battery which is at fault. I'll come to a stop and my lights will be dim as all hell, but when the engine is at operating rpm, the lights brighten up. Could it be the alternator?
