I can't recall ever washing my car when it didn't later rain. Oh well.
LOL, I hate that! Here on Cape Cod … NEVER EVER park under or near a light pole (wind). The flying dump rats (sea gulls) will get you every time.Sunday I decided to go ahead and wash the car, even though I knew it was supposed to rain this week, and it rained good yesterday.
Well Sunday night we go up out to dinner and we take the Stang. I park in an open parking lot, no trees, no power lines, light poles or anything nearby.
I come out, and there is a 2" wide by 8" long streak down the passenger side of bird crap, and 2 - 4" diameter splats on the strips on the hood.
So of course when we got home, I got a bucket and sponge and wiped them down.
Isn't that why you wax it? :hihi:That sucks...Ive had that happen a couple times right after waxing it...:nono:
My neighbors think I'm nuts, because often if it's drizzling on a Saturday morning, I'll go out and wash my car.See that's the problem with nice days. EVERYBODY decides to go out and wash their cars. All that water evaporates, forming clouds, and it rains.:scratchchin
Best bet, go out on a Tuesday morning at say 10:00. Nobody ever washes their car then.![]()
