Just finished my x pipe instal and my car won't start. All it did was click. Had the battery charging all day then tried it and when I turn the key everything cut off after switching it a few times the guages came on and still all it did was click.

Make sure your battery terminals are tightened. Sometimes they may look like they are but not making full contact with the battery post.

After checking and cleaning all the ignition electrical connections check the starter. I had the same "click" with lit gauges and I burned out two starter solenoids before checking the starter. The starter housing was cracked on the top side (that I couldn't see until I removed it) and the windings had shorted out. A new starter has been a beautiful thing
