Hey guys, I just bought the a 1993 Mustang LX that has been converted from a 2.3L fuel injected to a 302 HO that is carburated. Is it possible to use the factory tach with this setup. I would need to know exactly what parts would be needed and what not, as this is not my specialty. Please bear with me as I learn more and more about this car. I think a factory working tach would be a nice touch. Is it possible, and if so how? Thanks :eyebulge:

You're going too have to swap in a V8 tach and then make sure it's wired to the coil correctly. You should have a green wire that goes to the coil - side and a red w/ green stripe to the + side.( I'm not entirely sure on the + wire, someone will speak up if I'm wrong). I would just toss on an aftermarket tach, even a cheap one is way more accurate than the factory!

Thanks for the help, if I really needed the tach I would definately get an aftermarket. Because I really dont need it, and I have a hard time looking at a unworking tach in my cluster, I would at least like to get it to move somewhat close. Thanks, and I'll see what I can find out.
