Thats pretty neat, I guess its only a special benifit to you Shelby purchasors. Im sure you could spray some protectant over the dash that would save it.:bigthumbsup

Has anybody have this on there car (like the pass dash part)and if do, how did you protect the ink?Pics would be nice,thanks

He probable uses a paint marker. I would sing it for half of what he wants.......:bigthumbsup
Here's what AFM member msbmustang did:How do you protect the ink if you have Carroll Shelby's signature in your car?
It took about 8 weeks to get my dash plaque signed by Carroll Shelby and I was thinking of keeping it in the safe, but it looked so good on the dash I had to mount it. I did coat it first with 6 layers of artist grade Krylon. If you want to coat yours be sure to take a Sharpie pen and write something on a piece of AL and then try your brand of "Spray on Coating " on it first to make sure your spray will not make Mr. Shelby's Sharpie signature run! I read somewhere that someone used some other kind of spray on theirs that ruined the Shelby signature. - Mark / MSB Mustang
