I bought BBk Caster Camber plates for my Eibach R1 coil over kit to find that the plates are manufactured to take the stock springs, (see attached). If anybody has any ideas on how to work around this complication i'd want to hear them. If its not possible, are there other options for plates that function with these springs?
I called in and asked and these caster camber plates are not compatible nor can they be changed to fit. I was referred to Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates made specifically for these coil over kits.
I'm guessing the coil over assembly replaces the upper strut mount? In other words, does the whole coil over kit bolt directly to the strut tower rather than resting on a upper strut mount?
I know on mine that I have the Steeda upper strut mount (with camber setting available) that has the spring sit on the mount using the rubber bushing in between. I'm not sure if there is an available product that would simply bolt up to your coil overs. You should let us know how they work out though, they must handle really well!
