CDC Shaker Hood and Saleen Super Shaker

I have a Super Shaker installed. I found a Foose hood that I really like the looks of. Foose Engineered Hood From CDC - Mustang Blog
The Foose hood comes with a precut hood that is totally finished and does not need a plastic Trim ring either.
I was wondering if this hood would fit my Super Shaker.
I have heard that if you have a CDC Shaker and then got a Super Shaker that the hole would work and would not have to be cut anymore.

Lots of people upgrade from CDC Shaker to Saleen Super Shaker with no issues. I would imagine the hoods made for the CDC would work with the Super Shaker no problem :winks

Thanks for the answer. I called Brenspeed and the confirmed that it would fit. When I cut my hood i didnt do the best job and while surfing found a hood that looks more aggressive but not too much so. I like how it wont need a trim ring to work.

No its aluminum. I read long and hard about it. I didnt want a fiberglass hood and didnt want the weight of a steel one. Here is a paragraph outta an article on it.
"The hood in question is an original Foose design that was styled after the 69 Mustang and is also featured on the Limited Edition Foose Stallion that is for sale at select dealerships nationwide. The hood is styled with or without a stamped and flanged opening exclusively for the CDC Shaker with no cutting or trim ring required. Both the inner and outer panels are stamped aluminum and provide OE quality fit and finish. The Foose designed Hood also utilizes the factory washer nozzle locations."

There is a chance I might not get it. I need to see more pics of it. If the arrow is too high it may take away from the size of the Shaker. I like how the Super Shaker dominates the hood. I dont think I will like it if the arrow steals some of its thunder.
I was thinking of the new hood as my Shaker install did not go perfect. The mechanical stuff turned out good but the body work was kinda amatuer. I have some scratches and the trim ring keeps hitting the back of the inner shaker workings. I may just have a body shop repaint the hood and then Ill get a new trim ring and trim the flange part down so it does not hit. I think it hits when you slam the hood shut and when the engine torques up when you floor it.

It might just be me but I like the look of the stock hood with the shaker sticking through it. You get too many curves on there and it won't look quite right. You could modify your stock hood to not need a trim ring too. Just requires a little welding, filler, prep, and paint.

Yeah I know what you mean. I just got back from the body shop. hes gonna fix my hood nice and trim the new trim ring where it is hitting. Also gonna paint the scratches. The Foose hood is also real expensive and he siad he would have to paint the fenders too to get a perfect color match. So looks like the stock hood is staying. I just want this finshed so I can hit the track and see what the new Shaker system added.

Ive had the blower for a year. The Super Shaker is new. Ive heard conflicting info on if it adds power. But it really should since it added .5 lbs of boost in this summer air. I cant wait to see how much boost it gainen on a nice cool day.

Also here are some pics of the Foose/CDC hood with a CDC shaker. The difference for my car would be I can get the Shaker up higher in the front with washers so it would be more exposed. The body shop gave me quotes for fixing the stock hood and painting the new one. I have a couple days to think it over. how do you guys like these pics. i would just have plain Torch Red paint none of the custom stuff in the pics.

Honestly I think the hood looks better with the trim ring. It gives it that "finished" look. Maybe that's just me though...
