okay so I have a 2000 3.8L Mustang V6, and theres those 5 beeps and I know theres no airbag, and the airbag light dosent come on when I start it. So I was wondering if I changed out the bulb for a new one would it stop beeping. True or False? If true what kind of bulb does it use and how do you get behind the speedo?

THANKS!!!

if it is a bulb getting to it is easy. first disconnect your neg battery terminal wait a few minutes. then tilt your steering wheel all the way down. use a 5/16 driver and take out the 2 screws infront and up of your speedo. pull that piece out has i believe to clips holding it tight they release easy. then there are 4 screws that are 9/32 screws take those out they are on the corners. pull out the speedo disconnect the 2 wire harnesses left and right. then the speedo just pulls right out.

the airbag bulb is the red cased bulb in the row of i think 9 bulbs. u can use either a 5/16 or 9/32 nut driver to remove the rectangled shaped bulb.

the hardest part is finding somewhere that sells cluster bulbs. i went to 6 or 7 places with no luck.. including pepboys autozone and advanced auto and niether would even order the bulbs for me.
