I am planning on changing my dealer and I was wondering if will be a problem getting my deposit back?

yeh...when i changed my original dealer the manager tried to tell me the deposit would be lost as per the agreement ...then i reminded him i hadnt gotten that far with sales guy yet....SEEEE YAAAAA... but when i ran that scenario to my new dealer he told me that in the worst case situation the new dealer would just lower the price by 500 dollars to eat the expense for you...no worries

I had to cancel an order as I'd ordered somewhere else and got pulled at the new place. I was very paranoid about having to fight for the deposit, but turned out not to be a problem at all, just like they said when I put it down (nothing in writing one way or the other). Salesman did ask why, and I just told him I couldn't wait that long (would have been Feb probly). You can never tell, though. Go in with a positive attitude and know your stuff. I'm pretty sure being knowledgable helps, as they know they can't get away with anything.
