Check Engine - Evaporative leak?

Sure. To make a long story short. Of ocurse, the skipping CD stories are legendary, and mine being an early '05 model, I have that problem. I was hoping to time the replacement of the stereo with also adding the PIE Aux adaptor to hook up with my XM so it wouldn't to be torn apart twice. So the dealer calls me up and says my new, improved Shaker is in and we set up Monday as an appointment to have them install it. Well, turns out they didn'y have the right stereo anyway! So my trip to the dealer (and 3 hours of wating) was all for naught, except to find out that my check engine light was not a big deal. grrrr.
Did they happen to tell you the exact trouble code being reported by the PCM?
should'nt take a day. Takes about 30-60 minutes to find a evap leak with a smoke machine
