I've contacted SCT regarding their progress on releasing an application that can be used on the iPad for chip tuning. This morning I heard back from them saying that they are hoping to have something out by the end of the year. :cooldude:

This is good news for people like me who own an iOS device and want to use it for tuning their cars. Others probably won't care about this.

So stay 'tuned' for more information on this topic. :heha:

I don't like it.

Messing with your cars computer without knowing exactly what you are doing equals dead engine.

I agree that if you do something to your car's engine without knowing what you are doing it can be bad. This is not about being stupid, this is about chip tuning your car using software developed by industry experts with the guidance of qualified dealers.

This is really no different than buying the hardware that is already on the market to do the same thing.
