I think I have a case of dirty fuel injectors, the engine was built over a year ago and came from an auto wrecker. I cleaned everything up when I assembled it and a noid light shows they are firing and I have 40 psi on the rail but no gas on plugs and engine will not start or fire. Should I pull them out and soak them or is there an effective way to clean them without having to run the engine while they are still installed. Thanks for your help I need to get this pig running!

Sounds odd that you have 40 psi on the rail and noid lights indicate that injectors are working, yet no gas in cylinders. Also sounds odd that you are getting no spark and no fuel. Two different symptoms. Did you know that the engine will not start if the computer looses ground? I think that I would look at the spark problem first, then look for the fuel problem. Make sure the fuel pump is working, check fuel pump relay, fuel cut off, etc.

Please let us know what you find.

Good Luck with it.
