Cleaning Throttle body and MAF

My 06 V6 automatic idles oddly. when I shift into park the RPMs drop to 4-500 and it shakes real quick and almost stalls out, but then goes right back up to the normal 650.

I have been told to try cleaning the throttle body and/or MAF sensor and I am wondering if that's what I need to do, and how to clean those 2 things.

I definitely wouldn't hurt. I use carb cleaner for
the throttle body. They have a special cleaner for
the maf. CRC makes it. You can get that at
almost any auto parts store. The maf has to be removed from the housing to clean it properly.
be careful not to touch the maf element it can
be very fragile.
