just bought a 96 GT vert, with 69k miles, T45

Clutch engages high, MAYBE could get used to it, but . . . maybe there's a way to get it down,

AND

a very small lady owned it, and when the seat is as far back as it seems to go (toggle on left front of seat?) I am still WAY too close, do you think the seats may have been re-mounted?

Picking it up Wednesday, will have lots to look into!

Reach down and grab the clutch pedal, pull upward toward yourself. You'll hear/feel the pedal click..... That is the factory self adjusting mechanism.

If that doesn't help then maybe time for a new clutch.

Regarding the seat, not sure on that one. Roll it all the way forward (might have to just undo the 4 mounting bolts and take the whole thing out) and see if there's an obstruction in the track.
