I was wondering about my clutch because it rattles around different rpm ranges. the ratteling is back and forth not sideways so i know that it is not the nut on the end by the clutch. I was wondering if the cltuch cable needs to be adjusted or what . thanks

It might need adjustment . . .

How many miles, and what year of car is it?
its a 2000 with 90k miles. I think that it does just need adjusted because once i was just looking at it and kinda of messing with it right above the clutch pedal and i have no idea what i did but it fixed it for a little but then it got loose again. Is it hard to Adjust??
do you have a haynes manual?
i dont. would that be my best bet
