I have an 03 cobra with little mods. the clutch was going out, I got a spec stage 2+. Now the thing si keep seeing is to use a oem tob. why is this if the my new clutch already came with one? do i need to get an oem tob are they better what is the difference bewteen the one supplied and oem?

yes you need OEM, the ones that come with the clutch are notoriously known for premature failure...spend the extra $50 and get an OEM

I agree. i chose to run the tb that came with the kit and 3 months later it damaged my throwout bearing sleeve and i had to have it all replaced. Definetely go with OEM.

Def use the FRPP or OEM TOB. it has been notorious for the aftermarket ones to crap out. Just make sure to lube it good and lube the contact points on the clutch fork and pivot ball.

2005gt, I have no clue what you are talking about never replaced a clutch before this will be my first one. Wish me luck can't be that hard right.
