Hey guys, I have a 2012 V6 manual with 96k miles. I've been having a squeak and groaning sound simultaneously as I release the clutch from a stop and am slightly on the throttle. It tends to happen more if I don't match the input exactly perfect (potentially under rev?). It also makes the same sound if I'm in 2nd at say 5 mph and I don't give it enough throttle input so it almost does the typical shuttering trying to die. If it helps, I bought the car with 76k miles and as far as I know it's still on the original clutch.

Additional notes to hopefully help:
  • No sound when working the clutch in neutral, car on or off.
  • Sound has slowly progressively gotten louder with the last 500 miles or so.
  • I tried to capture the sound with my phone, but its too difficult for the phone to pick up over my exhaust.

Thanks for any and all help!

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not familiar enough with manuals to give any advice but there are some people on here that definitely are.
