Okay,

To start off I am finally buying my dads mustang off him and bringing it home. I'm looking to do too things. Buy a cold air intake, and restore the car. I'm not sure but the mustang itself under the hood has i guess a motor roll bar. I might sound dum but i think they came on the 1994's and 95's and so on. But the guy we bought it off swaped alot of goodies from a 95 so yah. Anyways i was just making sure a foxbody Cold Air intake piping would fit under the bar thing.

Secondly,

I don't know what colour i should paint the car. It is already a nice blue with silver/grey metalic under like original. But i really want to paint it black cherry. I was wondering how hard it is to paint under the hook without taking the motor out just like main things around the motor and just going with any black. Or should i just keep it easy and put a fresh coat of blue on it and make my life alot easier.

Thanks

Are you talking about a strut tower brace if so the CAI should fit under it. With the paint it is not that hard just pull the wiring and stuff off the firewall an inner fender walls throw some plastic over the engine and wires and paint it. Should look good. Good
Luck

it is a LOT of work to change the color of the car the right way, door jambs, engine bay, trunk area, etc. just ask your dad.

if you dont mind the work and time (a very long time), then you shouldnt have a problem.

but if you want to keep it simple and be able to drive it sooner, then just repaint it the same color.
