I have a 1992 Mustang GT with a 70mm throttle body and a bigger mass air sensor. I was thinking about getting a cold air intake. I found one on Ebay that has you use your own mass air meter. Ive noticed these are pretty safe, and there a pretty basic upgrade for most vehicles. I just want to make sure it will work with my car, I know you can have bad air/fuel ratios and that will mess you up. the one I'm looking for is pretty cheap, the size of the pipes are 3.5 inches which i think is roughly 88mm. everyone tells me it should fit my aftermarket throttle body since it comes with these rubber hose things and clamps. I just dont want my car to start throwing codes out on me. also the filter runs through the fender well. anything else I should look out for? should I pay more for a BBK or MAC?
