why the hell does her idle surge up and down, but when it warms up she idles perfectly at around 750 rpm with out a problem, just when i let it sit over night. its an 89, long tube headers, no cats, cobra upper and lower and some other stuff. i dont understand, and its just until it warms up.

well thats the thing, if it was the iac, tps or a vacuum leak then logic would dictate that the idle would surge at all times, not just when its warming up right? . could it be a computer thing?

whats the best way to check for vacuum leaks, or leaks around the throttle body?
