I've been thinking IF I don't go with a 331 stroker Then I want to upgrade my 268H mild cam .480 lift to the XE274H .520 lift. If you have this cam which I've seen some thread, throw some feedback on how you like it or not.

I've got one in my 347. was recommended by fordstrokerscom. Only have 50 miles on the engine. Get 15 lbs of vaccuum with it. Not lopey at all. Nice Idle. Seems to pull good low and surprising quick at upper RPM. Run RPM intake and twisted wedge heads. Have 2800 stall with C4 and 650 DP. So far happy with the build - seems to have plenty of power for me. Still have not tuned carb and timing is by ear - so I'm sure it will do even better once I get the kinks out.

Right on. I'm THINKING about getting the 331 stroker on my 289 with RPM heads, Weiand Stealth intake with a 600 cfm Holley and looking for more of that low end pull.
