Can anyone confirm the location of the computer for me.
Is it located behind the passenger side kick panel?
I need to confirm what chip is inside, I am thinking maybe the previous owner changed the chip and thats why i am having smog issues.:headscratch:

Yup, passenger side kick panel. Take the panel off and there it is.

Is the chip located on the outside where the harness plugs in or is it inside the computer itself?

Some style chips used to plug in inline with the ECM mains harness. Others use the J3 port. If there is a chip, you will see it.
