I have and 89 GT, I want to know will the Cobra 1993 motor work with my 89, What all do i need from them Cobra motor to make this work.Do i need the Cobra engine harness or do i need the Mass air flow chip or both help

The 1993 Cobra engine will go right in and your current harness will work with it. The only difference in the engines are the heads, intake, cam, rockers, mass air meter, injectors, and the computer itself. Get the Cobra mass air and injectors, you can do a straight swap of the engines.

You can get gt-40 heads from an Explorer, get a cobra or explorer intake, 1.7 roller rockers, cam, 24 pound injectors, 65mm TB and EGR spacer, and 70mm cobra maf. Keep your computer and have it custom tuned. Now, you will have an engine even better than the 93' cobra, cause it has forged pistons. :bigthumbsup
