Im going to purchase some coolant additive to help reduce engine temperature. So after i let the engine cool down can i just pour it in? or does it have to be premixed?

well how does your coolant look? if it's good, you should be able to just throw it in i think. if it's not just do a radiator flush and premix it just to be saf.

Also, why do you want to reduce engine temp.? your mustang shouldn't be overheating and you want it to operate at the man. specs. does it go above normal temps.?

i've seen quite a few people that have used these products and ended up with black oily residue inside their cooling system. seeing the pics was enough to keep me from wanting to mess w/ it. maybe they put in more than suggested, but still just not worth it to me
