Realize there a lot of threads on oil consumption but has anyone had repairs done by Ford to deal with the issue?

It's supposedly common to consume oil during break-in so there is no "fix". Just top it off til your next oil change.
Used about one and a half quarts first
3 k .Car has 6k know,no oil used.
I changed oil at 3k!
Mine has used less than a quarter of a quart in 2800 miles.:bigthumbsup
Mine used 1 quart first 1,000 miles. 0 since, Just had dealer change today at 4,500 miles and was full from filling at 1,000 miles. Motor smoother so far. Knock on wood. :winks:bigthumbsup
I did my first change at 3700 miles. The oil level was perfect, this is with 2 track days, and multiple 150mph+ runs on the car... Not sure why I didn't burn much oil...

But in the first 500 miles the car had already seen 150mph many times in full 0-150 WOT runs. So maybe these motors like a strong break-in?
Added .3 qts & have not used any since. I'm at 1k miles now.

I like this except 10 to 100 10 times in a row is all thats needed to set rings good.
I also broke mine in the hard way and hardly used any oil at all.
Tim is there anything you like about your Mustang at all?

From all the threads you've started maybe you should see if you could get your money back or something? You seem really, really unhappy with it.

Now that you mention it this guy looks like a troll. He has 7 post and 7 threads, kinda weird not to respond to any of his own threads.
Don't think any posts were more than questions. I like the car. Runs almost as good as my last z06 and at 66 yrs. have owned more performance cars than most. Previous 2 posts are a waste of time.
