It's supposedly common to consume oil during break-in so there is no "fix". Just top it off til your next oil change.
That's how I broke mine in.:bigthumbsupI did my first change at 3700 miles. The oil level was perfect, this is with 2 track days, and multiple 150mph+ runs on the car... Not sure why I didn't burn much oil...
But in the first 500 miles the car had already seen 150mph many times in full 0-150 WOT runs. So maybe these motors like a strong break-in?
I like this except 10 to 100 10 times in a row is all thats needed to set rings good.I did my first change at 3700 miles. The oil level was perfect, this is with 2 track days, and multiple 150mph+ runs on the car... Not sure why I didn't burn much oil...

Now that you mention it this guy looks like a troll. He has 7 post and 7 threads, kinda weird not to respond to any of his own threads.Tim is there anything you like about your Mustang at all?
From all the threads you've started maybe you should see if you could get your money back or something? You seem really, really unhappy with it.
