I have basic bolt on mods on my 1994 5.0 with a manual 5 speed transmission. What would a race be like with a regular lt1 350 5.7 vette stock be like?I have bbk cool air intake under drive pulleys, shorty headers with x-pipes,and flow master exhaust.Stock intake and cams.

typically you can expect to lose..they make alot more torque(340), not that it's the fastest Vette ever made, but it's ok for what it is...your car is probably the slowest 5.0 made in the modern era...sorry, get some trick flow heads and move up in the world.

NO, the 93 is slowest year!Just with the mods I have,I leave my friends 89 lx in the dust. Both are standards.Once you do the exhaust and headers the 1994 will beat or stay with any older stock 5.0.The 1994 makes there power higher up in the power band.Driving a stock to stock mustang you really can't tell the 215 hp vs the 225.It's all BS that 1994 mustangs are so slow.Don't believe what is on paper.I've owned a 87 fox body 5.0 stock and with the bolt ons I have,I would have dusted that car.

I think the 1994 5.0 was the slowest mustang ever produced....I think it was even slower than the Mustang II. :smilie

Sorry but the vette is going to probably beat ya. It is still a high 13's to low 14's car.
