Last CJ Pony parts sale, I picked up a set of the CPC painted hood lifts. I was thinking about doing the install this weekend, but I'm a little nervous about messing up the hood alignment or messing up the paint. For those that have installed, how difficult is it? Is it a one man or two man job?

I did use my wife to hold the hood up at one point. An extra set of hand will be helpfull. I did make pencil marks in certain area's for alignment, but the whole thing happened without much worry of alignment, it was fairly simple. Good Luck.

Well, I didn't get around to it this weekend. I did notice that the prop rod, even though I've only had my car a month, has marked the plastic where it lies, so I guess I leave it in place.
