:?: It is starting to get a little confusing. Everywhere you look there appears to be a new shelby variant being offered. 1st we had the Ford factory 2007 GT500 with 450 to 500 hp now Shelby Auto. Inc is offereing a V-6 with 350 hp called a CS6. Then West Coats Customs is making a V-8 variant through Shelby. How will all of this affect the sale of the factory "Shelby" GT500 and 10 years from now which will have been the best investment.

I have to tell you that the V-6 with 350 hp is one fine looking car and comes with Shelby data plate and is numbered.

Was planning to buy one of the new factory GT500s and i am on top of my dealers list but now I may take a serious look at the cars from Shelby Auto. Inc.

Opinions guys?:?:

Well, IMHO the CS6 is a better looking car then all the others and to me seems more of an "Official" hand-made type Shelby product. But then again, I'm not all wrapped around the axles about HP and such. My V6 has plenty of pep for me and the CS6's 350 will be more than enough fun.

I agee, 350hp is plenty of horsepower and should be light and handle very well. I also like the way the car looks better that the Ford factory car, and like you said it is a "real Shelby" numbered. Probaly will hold value well down the road depending on how many are built. Did not like the looks of the West Coast custom car.

Thanks for your comments
It seems that there will be room for G.T. 500 as well as all the rest since, The Company, has said that it will only produce 6 to 8 thousand 500's. That can only wet the appetite of some of their customers, while not wetting the appetite of considerably more of them. But you can get one now, and that counts for a lot. Having a black G.T. convertible helps to take the sting out of waiting too. Bruuuuuumm...EERT!
