I'm just wondering what the effects both good and bad would be of running 112 leaded fuel in a 4.6 motor with stock internals. much more power or blown engine or what? would spark advance need to be added?

without advancing the timing anything over 87 octane is a waste of money. if your going to run super or higher you have to advance the timing. I see no advantage to running 112 octane on a stock engine at all. just my 2 cents

Without advancing the timing the fuel will still be burning as it exits the exhaust, not good.

Also, you will need to run a little lean to realize any benefit so a re tune chip will be in order.

it would be worse than running 87. less btu's in the high octane

compression and advance is where the high octanes are needed
