Went in to the local muffler shop and had them cut off the factory mufflers and weld a pipe with a black tip. It soundsgreat! aggresive without drone or popping. It does not not sound like a 4cyl IMO and you can really hear the turbo! ill post a video soon...here are some pictures.

It sounds good man. I believe what you did was the most cost effective. I'm all about doing more with less. I've been giving some serious thought to buying the new Ecoboost Mustang instead of the GT. It just makes a lot more sense to me. Plus the mods and potential of the car are there for my desired horsepower goals.

thanks! you wont be disappointed with these T4's especially if you get it tuned. i got an intake and tune from american muscle and it completely changed the dynamic of the car! smoked the tires in 3rd!

So what I would like to do if I get this T4 is get a CAI, Tune, and cat less down pipe with full exhaust. Afterwards I would do suspension mods. I would love to get the car into the 11s in a 1/4 mile with this car and apparently it can be done. My concern is how hard the stock turbos can be pushed. I did see an aftermarket intercooler I'm interested in. There's also an aftermarket blowoff valve. But I want to do mods that are cost effective, improve performance, and maintain longevity.

I hear you. Ive done a tune, cai, and exhaust so far(not full). i wouldnt waste money on a BOV they will run about 300 and do almost nothing except sound cool haha and if you want that all you have to do is take off the BOV recirculation hose and plug the hole in the intake. thats what i did and it sounds badass and has no negative affect whatsoever. if you are interested in a video check out cjponyparts JLT CAI install video he shows how to remove the hose and what it sounds like. BTW im running 12.64 with only the above mods done. so much more potential though!

I don't have an egoboost mustang but I used to have 3 different turbo cars. If you deleted the resonator and get a catted down pipe with no mufflers,intake and a tune. Your car will sound like a diesel truck with some mean ass turbo spooling sound. You will not be disappointed

OP roughly how much did this run you? Thinking of going to a shop and doing something similar instead of spending almost 800 on some axle backs.

remove the resonator and just put a Y pipe. Keep original stock mufflers.
