Custom Plates for a Mustang? - Yes or No

I'll be picking up my Mustang shortly and was debating getting a personalized plate. It has one meaning that only a few would get, but to most it would come across as a cocky mustang owner.

1. It's a V6, not a 5.0 so cocky seems a little overkill
2. Makes it easier for people to remember real or imagined incidents and retaliate later
3. novelty might wear off

Will I regret it in 6 months or a year?

Item #2 has kept me from getting a plate "MYTWNGS"

I still may do it but I don't want to be so easily remembered.

Run it by a few of your friends and sleep on it to make sure you won't regret it, but I say go for it. Better that getting a boring alphanumeric one!
What would it say?
if it attracks attention of cops, no. Something like "RACR FU" is not a good idea. Something like "LUVU BB" is ok.
NO1QIKR is gonna be mine
Mine's gonna be 3POINT7... maybe. Not sure I would want my car easily recognized, either. But my planned mods would make it one of a kind, in the area I live, at least.
Heck I see SUV's & Mini Vans ect with vanity plates so if you like the idea and have a cool plate then do it, it hasnt worn off on me. Most people that have them , like them and dont care what people think :yup:

I was actually thinking about 3PT7 since Vet plates here are MAX 5 characters rather then 7 like regular plates. STANG and ST4NG are unavailable, but S74NG & 5TANG are available :yelpleased:.

Any ideas for some neat 5 character plates?
My first choice I want to be FST HRSY, but I worry that it might become an issue with cops (they're awful here). So my second choice is FVE OOH. Not sure which one I will get now.

Its going to be: 5 PT 0

Proud owner and let em know :)
You won't regret it. Mine is my username. People can find out your information from your regular plate. Yes, it is less obviously memorable, but the info. is still out there.

You can't have a Mustang and not have custom plates - but be careful... if your car will be parked unattended, best not to get an inflammatory plate... people always carry around a set of keys, sadly.
Registration fees are already through the roof. I'm not giving the DMV a extra $60 up front, then $31.50 every year on top of the reg. fees for a novelty plate.
