I've been thinking about some custom seats to replace the factory units.
Has anyone had any experience with any sports or racing seats? I'd like
some pro and con if possible. I'm looking for more side support especially
in the twisties.

I had Recaros in the Beemers I used to race, also in my first street M3, awesome seats! Right now I have many other places to put my money as I'm not driving it so I'd need that kind of seat... but if that's your cup of tea I'd say they are the best seat!

The Corbeau A4s are good, lightweight with recline. In fact, they were the lightest non-fixed seats out there for under $400 a pop.

But like anything else, it depends on your budget.

The sweetest are the carbon fiber/polished aluminum Cobra Misanos. But they're over $1000 each.
