With all the issues with #8 popping and most cars being tuned having the problems I started thinking if the car is tuned for 93 octane have the tuners considered that most fuel now has atleast 5-10% ethanol in it. I myself run a Lund / Evo 93 street and here in MS all gas has 5-10% ethanol in it. I only run 93 from one station and have never had a problem Dyno or at track but couldn't help but think if this could cause issues with 93 tunes. Just wondering if anyone has question any timers about using gas with ethanol in it.

the 10% ethanol is what makes the fuel 93 octane otherwise it would be something like 87 or 89 octane. And I don't think that it has anything to do with #8 piston. This issue is starting to get ridiculous now.

As info, you can purchase 93 octane gas that is ethanol free. That is what I am running now. ( No tune by the way).
