i have a 1994 ford mustang v6 and my front defrost doesnt work i changed the blendoor actuator witch is the switch that changes from vent floor and defrost my vents and floor work perfect but when i put it on defrost it comes out of my vents i checked the lines and there all good and connected anybody have any ideas of what could be wrong because when it rains my window gets foggy and i cant see to drive please and thank you

Did you find a problem with the blend door actuator?

Are you aware that the blend door controls the mixing of hot air flowing over the heater coil.

There are 3 vacuum operated "motors" to change the damper settings. The #1 item is the control motor that is not working. It is difficult to access with the dash still in the car.

1 18A318 Vacuum control motor (panel/defrost door)
2 19988 Temperature blend door actuator cable
3 18A318 Vacuum control motor (air inlet door)
4 A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket (part of 18454)
5 18A318 Vacuum control motor (floor/panel door)

that car got totalled now im driving a 97 gt so not the best way to fix the defrost but a good upgrade:bounce2:
