Hello,
I’m trying to find a Diablo Predator tuning specialist for a custom supercharger project.

In short, the equipment we are using on my late 2005 V6 Mustang is similar to the parts used in the X-Charger kit by Explorer Express. An Eaton M90 and GT intake parts.

I’m UK based and have the parts ready for fitting, we just require someone willing to ‘remotely’ tune our vehicle.

If there are any tuners on the forum who having read the above thinks they would be up for the challenge please contact me. Likewise, if anyone can recommend a tuning company please let me know.

I have already asked Diablo Sport (who weren’t much help in recommending a specialist)... and 'the Tuning Superstore' who again were not helpful.... Obviously being in the UK, I cannot take my car to a local US Dyno shop... :hihi:(TSS recommendation).

If more information is needed please just let me know.

Thank you!

Are there any tuners that have a lot of experience in American cars in the UK? Even if you have to drive a little far and pay a little more, a dyno tune will give you much better and safer results as opposed to an email tune, especially if it is a custom built kit.

There aren’t any CMR tuners in the UK that advertise themselves on the Internet. Likewise, Diablo's website does not list any CMR dealers in the UK. I have asked Diablo Sport if they know of any UK tuners.

Custom tuning in the UK is usually done by replacing the OEM engine management system with the tuners choice of ECU,... but I do not want to strip out the OEM electronics.

There is a dyno local to me, however they do not tune vehicles and we would probably have to assemble the supercharger onsite instead of doing the assembly in our workshop.

I have now found a Diablo tuner in the US who has offered to tune the vehicle using the Diablo.

FYI, for anyone thinking of undertaking similar large projects, most tuners won’t touch the Diablo with a proverbial 10ft barge pole, so do yourself a favour in advance and 'buy the other one'...

Sorry Diablo, but it’s true, you need to work on your social skills, and possibly your sales skills to get CMR more widely available!

Yeah it seem most tuners prefer the SCT. I don't really know why but there aren't nearly as many Diablo tuners as there are SCT tuners here in the states either
