I have a 2003 GT with an auto. It has 4.10s, bbk cai, c&l plenum 75mm throttle body, steeda udp's, and a jba cat back. I just bought a diablosport predator and installed the stock tune upgrade with the adjustment for the 4.10 gears. I know you can change the tunes settings. I run 93 octane in the midwest and I was wondering should I and which settings should I adjust to get more hp. should i adjust timing, shift firmness fuel etc etc?
good luck with this one, i tried to get some help a couple of times and it seems like nobody wants to give information which is understandable, i think nobody wants to say something an then something goes wrong, and then you come back an say well you said to do this
run the 93 octane tune that comes preloaded in your tuner. it tweaks the stock settings to increase performance. You can adjust shift firmness and torque modulation. I would advise not to increase line pressure just from what I have read. I would add a trans cooler to accommodate your 4:10 gears. You may want to consider a different valve body as well to extend tranny life. have fun!!
You can increase your timing to add some performance but add it little by little and test it out. If it start knocking then go back a degree in timing where it didn't knock at all. Good luck.
