my car has the divorced setup and it sounds great the only thing i noticed is the slight rasp in the higher rpm about 3-3500
First off, you do not have headers. 99-04s have manifolds.Ok I know there's been a million exhaust threads, but I can't seem to find the answer to this, which sounds would I get out of a stock header divorced dual system with Flowmaster 40's vs. the same setup with an H? I am NOT going to cut or gut my cats also. Only mod is the AM CAI. Basically, is an H better?
My local shop charges $50 to do an H-pipe and $150 to do an X-pipe.Would an X cost more for a shop to fab than an H? I'm looking IMO it, although I don't want to take the chance of rasp... I love that deep tone on start and idle.![]()
