i wanna run my 87 gt catless. will i still be able to smog it like that or do i need the cats to be smog legal.

would it sound good with just two high flow cats, or is it worth it to have a seperate h pipe with cats on it to swap out when i have to smog it?

Cats are a federal requirement.

Most people have an off road and put the cats back on when time to smog it. Get it inspected and then take them back off. You will not pass without them.

yea thats what i was planning on doing. but im still trying to decide if i should use and x pipe or an h pipe.... in your own opinion which is louder and meaner?
