HI i own a 2002 v6 mustang and i'm getting a catback exhaust system for it in december but i dont konw much about exhaust so do i need to get aftermarket headers for it also?? or will the current set up be ok for the system?? heres the link to the system that i am getting please look at it and tell me if i need headers...cause its gonna take me till december to afford this but i reallly want a deeper sound :eyebulge: http://www.mustangtuning.com/boststcaduex.html

You dont need to change headers with any cat back system. The reason they are called catback is because the installation takes place after the catalityc converters. Headers are are at the beginning of the exhaust system.

Think of it this way, you have the headers at the beginning of the exhaust system, they connet to the mid pipe (H-pipe/X-pipe or in your case probably a Y-pipe) which connects to the cat back at the rear.
