i am going to chg. from stock heads to gt-40's and use a 1.7 roller rocker with the stock cam. will i need to get a different pushrod length or can i use the stock pushrods? thanks--slo

Due to the change in cylinder heads, this may change the distance and angle from the lifter to the button on the rocker.
You really should accomplish the pushrod length check.

Normally, going from 1.6 to 1.7 ratio does not alter the pushrod length... but you would be assuming the manufacturer designed the rocker's fulcrum to button the same distance as OEM.

I would suggest you check your valve to piston clearance as well as checking for proper pushrod length. And throw in valve spring bind while you are at it.

The head change is what would affect the pushrod length, not the change in ratio. Best to get a pushrod length checker and that way you'll get what you need.
