I have a new issue with my 2000 v6 mustang and the door locks..

the behavior is the same on both sides

lately when I go to unlock/lock the doors...the door locks will go halfway up and then go back down....same thing happens with locking as well

you CAN hear the relay clicking when you do this...

so far if the car is DRIVING ...the problem does not occur...

so I'm thinking there is some sort of electrical issue...maybe not enough juice going to the locks?

what do ya'll think?

I'm thinking you're on the right track as far as elect. problem. Maybe swap out the relay. Some vehicles have two of the same relay and can be interchanged temporarily to see if trouble follows relay or not. They usually aren't too expensive either. Difference in voltage 12.5 at rest and 14-14.5 while driving could be the culprit with marginal relay.
