So I have a 1994 Mustang GT. I know people sadly put 5.0 and GT emblems on 3.8L V6 mustangs. What if I reversed that? What if I put 3.8L emblems on my GT? My 1994 GT currently has the GT Mustang emblems on it. Any opinions on putting 3.8L emblems on it instead to make people think it's a v6. That way if they get beat in a race they'd be "like what just happened I lost to a v6?"

I understand your wanting to do this but really your should be proud of the V8 you have. I did this but not for the same reason. I removed the GT (because I really don't like its design on 05-09 cars) from the sides and the rear faux gas cap. I replaced the rear with a CDC deck lid cover and the sides with the tri bar pony emblems but they aren't the V6 ones. I have much smaller ones. I would keep those 5.0 badges.

I see what your saying, but with my car, I am proud of the 5.0 like rgoddard57 says you should be. I took off all of my badging, and ordered new ones.
1x Chrome Ford oval
1x 1994-95 Mustang GT fender emblem
2x Chrome 5.0 High Performance

I put the 5.0 emblems on my fenders (well I will, they're sitting on there with some temperary peices of 3m tape, will put on perm when I paint it) and the gt and ford emblems on the trunk. I wanted to make sure people knew it was a 5.0 and not a 4.6 like the rest of the SN95s have. I even went so far as to get a GT emblem and a fox body 5.0 emblem and put them on my dash for the car shows :winks.

Do what you want but to downgrade your badges just to fool the ricers, I think is a bit childish and, well no offense, plain stupid.

Meh, you can do what you want, but I firmly believe in leaving the factory emblems alone - no addition or subtraction. Right now I still have a 5.0, and the car still says "GT Mustang" on the side and "MUSTANG GT" in the rear bumper. When I complete my 408, it will still read the same. :yelpleased:

I put 2.3 emblems one time on a mustang track event and then the next day was a drive down to the keys. Got a lot of attention :shocked: and some great trash talking (plus a few races).

It's all about personal taste.

I prefer as few emblems on my car as possible, your taste may be different.

As for 'lying' with emblems, it's a bit unseemly, but whatever. It's your car.
